AGN Shipleys is an accountancy firm fourteen partners strong. The firm was established about 100 years ago. Guy Fisher is one of the partners working from the London office.

AGN Shipleys first implemented R-Kive.it in May 2003. Document management software had brought the firm a step towards achieving a paperless office, but old files were still kept on microfilm or in outside document stores. Scanning important files for storage on the network was seen as a logical step, giving instant access to all filing while eliminating dependence on outside storage and delays in file retrieval. Operational efficiency would improve dramatically and the process would in part be funded by reduced payments to storage companies.

AGN Shipleys viewed different vendors in the market but felt that the majority of them were too expensive. R-Kive.it was cost effective, easy to use and offered quick documents retrieval - exactly what was required.

The implementation of R-Kive.it was problem free and the standard of service has proved to be excellent. It has provided a reliable system backed by reliable people, which is much cheaper than purchasing scanning equipment and employing new staff to do file scanning in-house.

AGN Shipleys no longer has to pay people to retrieve files. Prior to using R-kive.it it would take about a week to retrieve a document - it now takes just seconds, which results in huge efficiencies for the company.
